Overcome Anxiety PDF Print E-mail

The human brain receives over 1500 messages per day from many sources. These messages vary from unconscious concerns, such as movement, digestion, and pain, while others deal with conscious concerns, such logic, decisions, relationship, and news. Given today's fast-paced world, it is easy to become overwhelmed by the influx we receive every second.

When the conscious mind can no longer handle the messages overloading the brain, the subconscious prepares us for the fight or flight. In preparation for the fight, the heart pumps harder, blood pressure rises, and super strength can be generated, but sometimes there is nothing to fight. We cannot fight a job, an accident, or a bad decision. Unable to fight, the reaction turns to the alternative—flight. In present day life. flight can prove impossible and oftentimes state of apathy, depression and/or hypersuggestibility ensues. Negative input finds acceptance. Futility and melancholy develop and an overreaction to the senses develops together with a loss of tolerance. The road turns downhill.

A person experiencing continuing stress/anxiety may well become subject to such frenzy and in the process develop any or several forms of stress-related illness. While certain types of stress are even desirable (romantic stress, job promotions, winning a lottery), stresses that produce debilitation (depression, excessive smoking, overeating, anger, grief). These debilitating outcomes generally require professional help.

Hypnosis, while an effective means of therapy, has not yet overcome the stigma that has been associated with it. If you’re concerned about going to a hypnotherapist or what others would say or think there are alternatives. My audio guides are designed to allow you to listen in the privacy of your home or office on your own terms. As you repeatedly listen to the program, you will build your motivation and confidence and break out of the conditioning that has developed over time.

My “Overcoming Anxiety and Panic Attacks” treatment is offered in two formats, based on your technological choice. You can download the treatment in mp3 format and listen on your mp3 player or burn your own CDs or purchase the CD version, which will be mailed to you.
